Traitors? You're losing it, girl.

You go Elaine! Something is wrong here and it would indeed be interesting to find out just what it is!

Elaine you are too judgmental when you ascribe motives of payoffs or jobs as the reasons these people support one Republican. In this case you are like right-wing intollerant judgmental bigots who jump to conclusions and demonize someone they disagree with. Your disgust with them endorsing Republicans is fine. But your ascribing being "rewarded secretly" has no basis in fact and is childish and slanderous. Grow up. People can think for themselves and be good Democrats without being told what to believe. It's called pluralism. Freedom. Choice. Tolerance. Respect for differing opinions. I admire you promoting what you belive in, but please respect people's right to differ.

  • Telling the truth
"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." George Orwell "I found that to tell the truth is the hardest thing on earth, harder than fighting in a war, harder than taking part in a revolution." Richard Wright, 1944.
  • From the News Release
PeoriaStory will tell the stories that likely won’t be told by the mainstream/corporate media. It will question local political candidates for their views on controversial topics. It will cover and profile off-beat movements and people. It will take stands on issues such as the Kellar trail. It will also serve as a forum for liberal and progressive events, and welcomes news releases from groups working for the public good. PeoriaStory will be a fresh, new voice for the Peoria area blogosphere, and offer a liberal and progressive perspective for our times.
