PEORIA HEIGHTS -- From a news release:
Paparazzi Restaurant will celebrate 30
years of business on SUNDAY, JULY 7th, with an OPEN HOUSE at the
Restaurant, 4315 Voss, Peoria Heights, from 2-5pm.
Complimentary refreshments will be available.
Additionally, The Elite Pulses of Hope (a five member Jazz
Ensemble) will be performing in the front parking lot, and Paparazzi
will 'Team -Up' with the Baum Family Center (next door to Paparazzi) to
also offer refreshments, and feature highlights from the recent Greater
Peoria Honor Flight. Co-owner Bruce Brown was one of two still
photographers aboard the June 4th ' FLIGHT'.
In keeping with Paparazzi's 30 years history of
community fundraising ( the Restaurant has raised, and contributed, more
than $340,000 to community needs these past 30 years), Paparazzi will
be accepting voluntary donations for Greater Peoria Honor Flight.
Additionally, hats and shirts from the Honor Flight group will be for
sale at the Baum Family Center.
Among those eventful fundraisers these last 30 years
are: Easter Seals, Marine Corps Toys for Tots, Salvation Army,
Springdale Cemetery, GAR Hall, Northmoor Observatory, Peoria Ballet
Company, Deployed Marines for Company C, 6th Engineer Support
Battalion, MCJROTC, Richwoods High School, and more.
This event is to be a celebration of that
history, their customers, their co-workers, and their suppliers. All of
Central Illinois is invited.

Looks like a great event! Just one slight correction: The ELITE Pulses of Hope is a drum line, not a jazz ensemble.
