PEORIA, IL -- Here are excerpts from information about a new environmental threat to a lovely rural community. No it's not a hog farm this time. It's a huge agri-business facility. Click on the links below, then act.
If you want to see the Farmington-Cramer-Trivoli-Eden-Hanna City rural community move in a truly sustainable and forward direction, we urge you to attend the Zoning Hearing on July 9 at 9 a.m. in Room 403 at the Peoria County Courthouse.
Please also write a letter in our support and against the proposed development. They need to be faxed or emailed to klowder@peoriacounty.org, fax # 309-672-6075, by Monday, July 6 to have the most impact. Reference case # 026-15-U. Letters received later may be considered but may not be forwarded to the board members ahead of the meeting if received too late.
PLEASE write with your questions, thoughts and advice. We are fighting an uphill battle here but hope to find support for the work we are already doing and our vision of the way forward.

Will the Peoria County Board have the guts to deny this zoning application?
We'll see.
