Lit. on Fire Used Books Presents:
Get Lit. Open Mic with author Sylvia Shults
A December 21st event for Lit. on Fire Used Books features open mic poetry, music, and short stories as well as a talk and book signing from the guest author, Sylvia Shults.
It takes place from 7-11pm. on Wednesday, January 21st at Lit. on Fire Used Books inside the Studios on Sheridan (in the Sunbeam Building) and compliments the quarterly companion Literary magazine, Get Lit.
The event is free, but donations to benefit the Get Lit. Literary magazine will be accepted. Attendees are encouraged to shop in the bookstore throughout the evening, and the featured author’s books will be available for purchasing and signing.
Lit. on Fire Used Books, launched in July of 2015, is a used bookstore that boasts over 7,500 well cared for, unique, hand-picked titles, and is nestled between other unique shops and art studios at the Studios on Sheridan. Customers are welcomed to draw, write poetry, and doodle on the bookcases to add to the already artistic atmosphere.
